Ancash Canyon marks the inaugural quest area of Tarisland, beckoning adventurers guided by the Inscribed Stone towards its vast and untamed terrain. The trek shall kick off within this cavernous, archaic, and mystical cave, whose interior air is replete with a fragrance of freshness and pureness, that seemingly exudes an aura of esoteric magic.

Concealed amidst the lush greenwoods lay abound caverns, their location obscured from plain view. Traverse the forest’s density to behold the majestic expanse of grasslands, rushing rivers, and imposing mountains.

Gentle and Friendly Local Tribe

A hundred years ago, the Tata tribe migrated from the southern continent and settled in Ancash Canyon, where they established their own community. Their structures are unrefined and constructed mainly of wood and animal skins. The tribe’s focal point is a square, where members congregate for special events and festivities. Whenever there are significant occasions, the tribe convenes to sing, dance, and pray around the totem pole, expressing their reverence and appreciation for nature.

Due to the presence of local enemies, the Tata tribe in Ancash Canyon must remain watchful and ready to confront potential dangers.

Shadow Envelopes

Recently, a tower crashed down from the sky onto the plateau, releasing a dark miasma that polluted the once-pristine sky. The land around the site slowly began to deteriorate, turning into a desolate wasteland.

The Tata tribe’s top warriors went to the crash site to investigate the anomaly, but none returned unharmed. The priests resorted to using ancient rituals to limit the miasma’s spread but only achieved a short-term solution.
